SHANGRI-LA | OAHU FILM PHOTOGRAPHER

A couple months ago I had a unique experience along with a group of other film photographers to privately visit and photograph the beautiful Shangri-La, “a center for Islamic arts and cultures”. Thanks to the staff for hosting us and Treehouse Hawaii for making it happen. So much to see I was a bit overwhelmed with...

VACATION | THE 2ND HALF | CALIFORNIA

California is so pretty, the weather our entire time there was perfect, already looking forward to going back. And like every other time I have a camera with me–and go/do something fun and special–I always wish I shot more. Until next time, California, thanks for a great time! :)

We went to the beach one afternoon in December, for some family photos.  Earlier in the month, we were blessed to be a part of a workshop...

I had a fun time with Jenna and a group of photographers last year at this lovely styled shoot at the beautiful Kualoa Ranch. Jenna of Creatrix Photography coordinated it and did a fabulous job!  I decided to shoot my canon ae-1 with the 50 1.4 lens and both kodak portra 160 and fuji 400h,...

WAIKIKI | EKTAR | OAHU, HAWAII FILM PHOTOGRAPHER

I posted my Waikiki cross-processed shots a few weeks ago, here are the Ektar shots, which I love!  I’ve used this film in the past with mixed results, but a perfectly sunny Hawaiian day seem to be the ideal conditions where I have found this film to shine!  The shot of the girls is from...

WAIKIKI | CROSS-PROCESSED | OAHU, HAWAII FILM PHOTOGRAPHER

Good friend and film photographer Wendy stopped over from Maui a few weeks ago, so we went to Waikiki :). She’s an expert at this particular film and cross-processing, this was my first go at it, will definitely be using it again!
